Dr. F offers over 25 years of experience as a global shared services subject matter expert with multi-industry experience. As a result of his work for Johnson & Johnson in 1989, he created the multi-functional shared services concept with a strong emphasis on customer relationships and shared accountability for results. His particular focus is on shared services organizing alternatives, service delivery and location strategies, customer partnering and relationship management and innovative solutions. Leland has served as an adviser to shared services executives and corporate leadership teams in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia while at The Amherst Group Limited and A.T. Kearney management consulting firms. He has published more than 30 articles, is a frequent speaker at shared services conferences and venues around the world and possesses a Ph.D. in Organization Theory and Behavior.
Dr. F first met Triangular World founder John Hall whilst consulting on a Shared Services engagement for American Standard, where he advised on global and functional leveraging and improvement opportunities. They later worked together on a consulting project for DSM during the launch of their SSO and as Council Members on The Conference Board’s Shared Services Council and continue to work closely.
